The UCGY seeks to identify young people between the ages of 10 and 24 who are inspired to contribute towards solving planetary issues for the benefit of humankind. The initiative is based on research findings that suggest creativity and divergent thinking diminish as we grow older and conform to the education system. The UCGY aims to identify potential global change makers from all six continents, establish a voice for peace and unity among future generations, incubate ideas and nurture creative solutions to better the world, and provide a platform for dialogue and exchange between youth and access to relevant resources.
